Little game at the table

Daddy showed Claire a new tickle-bug game that her papa had taught him when he was a little boy. Often after dinner, Clair puts her finger on the table and says 'Dada' demonstrating that she wants to play the tickle bug game.

Thanks to Aunt Anna for the reminder to post on the blog...2 months is indeed a LONG time! We have spent the last two months busy with visiting family (both to and from). Daddy, the primary family blogger was away for work a lot too.

She's getting so big!

This is a longer video, but fun to watch Claire remain focused on her coloring techniques. There are times when she ignores daddy because she's hard at work. This was a sentimental moment as we realize she's becoming smarter, brighter and more sophisticated! Yay Claire!

Ms. Claire can moo, how about you?

Oh the wonderful sounds Ms. Claire can make, how about you? (Adapted from Dr. Suess' Mr Brown can Moo, can you? which is one of Claire's favorite books) This has been a fun stage for us. Claire has been mimicking and trying out new words. Here's her collection of animal sounds. Normally they're very clear and loud, but she does get camera shy.

Star Soccer Goalie!

Claire has been practicing her running skills. Daddy might be too optimistic about her soccer skills, but she really does have a knack for securing the ball...like a wide receiver perhaps?

Easter!

These videos are long, but I couldn't see a proper way to edit the film..she's just so fun to watch. Easter was great, we went to church and came home to find that the Easter Bunny had been there! Claire really enjoyed hunting for eggs and the hidden marshmallow treats. Later in the day, our friends came over for a feast. They had a one week old baby and Claire was amazing with him. She was very intrigued and gentle.
