Is mommy old?

Claire's making mommy's birthday card (don't worry, mommy already saw it, we celebrated early since we'll be out of town on the 20th). Claire doesn't answer the question, but still cute.

Claire helps daddy get the Christmas tree up. Christmas has been fun for us so far because Claire is animated and can pick out lights and decorations. She doesn't understand Santa but can find Baby Jesus, so that's all that matters!

Mimi helps Claire cite her ABC's (this was in October) today Claire is more clear and can pick out letters on signs or in books.

Halloween!

This year Claire was a bumblebee. Her brother stayed home with dad and Uncle Travis to hand out candy while she walked around the hood with Mimi, mommy and Steele and his mommy.

Jude's born!

Again, it feels weird to be finally posting this a full 6 weeks after Jude rocked our world! We're so thankful for Jude's health, he was a full 7 lbs and 15oz's. Born on October 25, 2013 after a relatively smooth induction. He was 2 weeks late which I'm sure Nana will remind him of.

Claire's 2!

Yes we know this is late, but shortly after her birthday Claire had croup and we were busy getting ready for Jude. Better late than never!

How many toddlers do you know can spell their name? Claire is certainly head above the rest (first thing in the morning nonetheless). While you may not be impressed by the video, Claire practices her letters and says them when she sees a keyboard or other alphabets around.

It's Fall! Our Trip to the Apple Orchard

It was a beautiful fall day to visit the apple orchard with our good friends, Lindsay and Eric. We fed the animals, went on a hayride, ate apple cider donuts, and got a bag of apples! It was a great day! Probably our last family outing before Baby Kasper #2 comes :)

While Mommy and Daddy were busy getting ready for her little brother, Claire continued to develop and grow into her own personality. Here are some videos (sorry for the delay...it's been hectic)!

Claire's friend Eva comes over!

Josh, Jean and Eva all came over from Hastings Nebraska for a quick trip. We went to Tiny Town (smallest town in the world) and Claire seemed to like walking around and looking inside the tiny houses. We also went on a train ride through the town.
