Christmas Eve!

On Christmas Eve, we had lasagna and went to the 7pm Candlelight service. With a dress from nana and bow from Grammi, Claire was ready to roll (literally, she wasn't able to sit still for the pictures).

These videos are of Claire playing. Her fascination with the computer is interesting to watch, but certainly tiresome for Mommy and Daddy. We also put her in her bouncer and it was amazing to see she still fit and enjoyed it!

Claire's (sort of) Walking!

Claire's been showing more interest in walking lately. We find her standing upright...albeit, very still! She also walks around holding daddy's two hands or with her stroller.

Claire's Baptism Birthday

For Claire's first baptism birthday, we decided to begin a water tradition to remember the washing and renewal of our old Adam through baptism. With Aunt Anna, we all went to the Westminster Rec Center and swam. Claire couldn't stop squealing and smiling!

Kasper "Christmas"

Right after the Thanksgiving feast, Claire had Christmas with Nana and Papa, they brought a lot of great presents...she wasn't too interested in opening anything. However, she loved her new baby doll and instinctively knew what to do.

After the wedding, Nana and Papa came over for Thanksgiving Week. Claire loved the extra attention and games.

Josh and Jean's Wedding

From November 15-18, we went to Hastings Nebraska to celebrate Josh and Jean's wedding. Nana and Papa came too. Claire had her first cold, so she was not as photogenic. She also got to spend time with her friends Eva and Lucy!

Claire's first snow

We had an early snow this fall. Previously, Claire had been too little to try the ice cold wonder. So as soon as there was snow on the ground, mommy had to take Claire out.

Claire's 1st Birthday

On October 14, 2012, Claire celebrated her first birthday with 4 teeth (2 on top and 2 on the bottom). Her favorite word is "dada" and she loves to crawl and play on the swings.

We had a 'small' party with 12 close family and friends to enjoy cake, presents and beautiful weather. We thank everyone for their generous gifts and time. Claire was so excited to get a new swing-set from all of her grandparents. We are so blessed to have such a great family/friends!
