Nursery

Well, here we are at 9 months! Our little baby girl is due exactly one month from today! We have been busy getting the nursery ready! She is already taking after her mommy- lots of clothes, shoes and accessories! :) 

Eight months!!

Our New House!

We finally moved into our new house!! While it have been A LOT of work and some frustration, we are so excited to have a place of our own! Josh drove out from NE to help us move and put furniture together--most importantly the crib! Jake and Josh worked many late nights getting everything set up! 

Baby, baby, baby!

We just finished taking our many baby classes! Jake and I did Childbirth, Breastfeeding, and Baby Care. We really liked the Baby Care class because we got to actually "do" things like bathe a baby, practice our swaddling techniques, and change diapers! Jake also took Daddy Boot Camp, which was a gift from a friend, and he practiced holding newborns.

However, we have the feeling that no matter how many classes we take, we will never be prepared for this little gift that is soon to arrive! But, nonetheless, we are so excited to meet our little girl and begin this parenthood adventure!

Babymoon

We had a great time at Myrtle Beach, enjoying our last vacation before becoming parents...ergo "Babymoon".

Rockford Baby Shower

Holly flew out to Illinois for a family/friends baby shower. Jake drove out a week later with the vehicle to pick everything up! It was a wonderful time, both Grandmas hosted and Great Aunt drove there from Michigan for all the festivities. Thank you to everyone for the generous gifts and great times!
